Prepares undergraduate learning assistants (tutors) to become successful learning assistants in AM 10. Topics include roles and responsibilities of tutors; AM 10 learning objectives; effective ways to address particular AM 10 topics that students struggle with; introduction to teaching and learning strategies to utilize in AM10 tutoring sessions; and peer and self observation. Enrollment is by instructor consent.

Prerequisites

Prerequisite(s): AM 20; and AM 30; and previous or concurrent enrollment in STEV 96. Enrollment by permission of the instructor and restricted to juniors, seniors, and graduate students.
