- From the Instructor: This course gives students an understanding of digital painting, from basic techniques to industry application to how these programs operate. Text-based lectures and asynchronous demos let you learn and practice the tools at your own pace. Weekly assignments encourage experimentation and skill development, with discussion critiques providing constructive feedback. No prior digital painting experience is required, but a familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and traditional or digital painting would be helpful.
