BIOE 106Principles of Genetics for EEB
Provides students with a broad genetics background. Topics range from understanding the flow of genetic information within single-celled organisms to how genes and gene products function within multicellular organisms. Students learn how genotype shapes phenotype and its role in evolution and ecology.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 20A and BIOE 20B and BIOE 20C.
- This course is recommended for Biology BA, Ecology and Evolution BS, Marine Biology BS, and Plant Sciences BS. Other majors should check with department advisors on major applicability before enrolling in the course. Enroll in lecture and associated discussion section.
