CHEM 8AOrganic Chemistry
Introduces organic chemistry, with an emphasis on bonding and reactivity of organic compounds.
Prerequisites
Prerequisite(s): CHEM 3C, or CHEM 4B, or CHEM 1C and either CHEM 1B, CHEM 3A, or CHEM 4A
- If you completed the prerequisites but get an error message: UCSC Students - email your proof of prerequisite material to chemistryadvising@ucsc.edu for approval. To take both CHEM 8A and 8B this summer, add both to your cart and enroll at the same time to avoid errors. If you are already in 8A and can't add 8B, email summer@ucsc.edu for a permission number.
- Visiting Students - prerequisite review is waived in summer.
- Optional discussion sections will be scheduled at the beginning of the term with student/TA input.
