CLNI 85Global Action
Workshop facilitated by peer instructors. Students learn about current international and global issues through interactive exercises, small-group discussions, and faculty presentations. Students develop an action plan to raise awareness about one or more of these concerns and take practical steps to create positive change in the world.
- This 2-credit course will provide you with an opportunity to examine our sister college themes of International and Global Perspectives (C9) and Social Justice and Community (JRLC) in a workshop-style environment through interactive exercises & hands-on learning, including attendance at the Practical Activism Conference. CLNI 85 Section 01 is for the student planners of the 23rd annual Practical Activism Conference (PAC). If you are a PAC planner from Fall 2025, please reach out to The CoCo Director Mark, mgardne2@ucsc.edu, for your permission code. If you were not a PAC planner starting in the Fall 2025 and are interested in CLNI 85, please sign up for section 02, 03, or 04.
