CMPM 115BLead by Design: Experiential Curriculum Development

3 creditsGE PR-EUndergraduateStudent Option

Student-leaders work in teams to develop experiential learning content for a 3-credit design-build experience, a skill-building course where learners are set up to complete a significant engineering artifact. Student-leaders practice active learning that facilitates learners in traversing the engineering design cycle with room for iteration and to learn and recover from failure. CMPM 115B employs professional skills learned in CMPM 115A: teamwork, leadership, inclusive practices, Agile processes, and engineering ethics. Topics developed are accepted by proposal from the student-leaders.
