ECE 8Introduction to Robotics, Automation and Intelligent Control
Fundamental concepts in robotics, dynamical systems, modeling, analysis and robustness to uncertainty. Control as it occurs naturally, and the design of control laws to engineer desirable motion or dynamic response. The course also introduces students to MATLAB. (Formerly Robot Automation: Intelligence through Feedback Control.)
Prerequisite(s): CSE 20 or CSE 5J or CSE 10 or ASTR 19 or ASTR 119 or BME 160 or by permission of the instructor. Prerequisites may be waived if students have passed the CSE 20 test-out exam.
