ECON 193SSummer Transforming Futures Experiential Learning
This course is open to students in the Transforming Futures program administered by the Institute for Social Transformation. Students work individually with their internship partners under the guidance of the course instructor and coordinators. The program enables students to pursue meaningful and career-advancing summer internships while creating impact alongside organizations advancing social good and equity. Students strengthen their professional and leadership skills, expand their professional networks, and establish pathways toward future career goals. Enrollment in this course requires permission from the instructor.
- Open only to UCSC students in the Transforming Futures Summer Internship Program. This course provides hands-on experience working full-time at an off-campus internship. Throughout the summer, participants will develop essential workplace skills, build their professional networks, and reflect on their career trajectories.
