ENVS 123Animal Ecology and Conservation
Advanced course in animal ecology and conservation focusing on the ecology, behavior, biogeography, and evolution of vertebrates.

Prerequisite(s): Previous or concurrent enrollment in ENVS 100 and ENVS 100L; or by permission of instructor.

- From the Instructor: Our class will combine pre-recorded lectures, weekly readings, discussions, and hands-on projects to explore animal diversity, adaptations, and conservation strategies. Students will collect, enter, and analyze data using Merlin and iNaturalist; draft summary reports and figures; and prepare a short presentation on the ecology and conservation of an animal species of their choosing.
