KRSG 65WKresge Lab: Creative Writing
A course of guidance and exercises to assist in developing independent writing projects, and a group setting for critique and feedback. Students do in-class and out-of-class writing assignments; read and discuss texts; and work to develop a final project.
- All students from any college or high school can enroll. No restrictions in summer.
- From the instructor: Note that while this section is asynchronous, there are tight timelines for students to submit their own work and respond to their colleagues' pieces.
- Kresge 65W introduces students to fiction, poetry and creative nonfiction through a series of lectures, writing exercises, readings and assignments, as well as peer commentary; it welcomes both beginners and experienced writers. Students should expect to engage intensively with their own writing and with the work of others. You will need access to the internet and a device on which you can perceive audio, video, and text files; please purchase the assigned textbook before the class begins.
- Please plan to attend one of the following synchronous Q & A sessions: Monday, June 22 at noon PST Tuesday, June 23 at 7 PM PST Saturday, June 27 at 11 AM PST Zoom links will be in the first announcement.
