MUSC 163Early Music Band
Performance of a variety of early Western traditions—so-called “baroque ’n roll”—culminating in at least one concert. A broad range of instruments for student use available, including lutes, early guitars, viols (bowed strings), early flutes, baroque violins, harpsichord, organ, and incorporation of folk and/or “modern” instruments. Admission is by audition with instructor prior to first class meeting. Contact instructor prior to first class meeting.
