PSYC 119VAdolescent Alcohol Use
Covers aspects of alcohol use research including co-use, motives, intensity, and frequency of use and developmental factors that affect alcohol use including stress and peer norms using project-based learning, personal reflections, and in-class discussions. Satisfies the senior seminar and senior comprehensive requirements.
Prerequisite(s): PSYC 100, and satisfaction of the Entry Level Writing and Composition requirements. Enrollment is restricted to senior psychology and cognitive science majors.
- Restricted to declared UCSC Psychology Majors with senior standing. Look out for a senior seminar survey email from psyadv@ucsc.edu to indicate preference and to request permission to enroll.

- From the Instructor: Classes will be on zoom and synchronous. Students will be expected to have their cameras on. This will be a discussion-oriented class on empirical articles regarding teenage alcohol use, and students will take turns leading article discussions each class.
