Examines how people use language to communicate. Course covers speaking and understanding, including speech perception, grammatical processing, the meaning of words and strings of words, and how conversations work, among other topics.

Prerequisite(s): PSYC 100. Enrollment is restricted to psychology and cognitive science majors.
