Students explore language acquisition and how to best optimize their own language learning by engaging in a primary research project. Through the research project, students learn to use academic discourse conventions in their own writing.

Prerequisites

Prerequisite(s): WRIT 25, AWPE-MLS score of 4 or 5, or course selection via Directed Self-Placement.

  • This is a hybrid course. The first class (M) each week will be remote asynchronous. The second class (W) each week will meet in person.
